What should I know about holidays for all Budgets in Spain and Malaga

When planning our family holidays and with a limited budget, we may need to find a cheap holiday destination.

Winter holidays in Spain use to be much cheaper. so it would be a good idea to decide planning our holidays during that season when looking for budget holidays instead in summer, where prices use to be a little bit higher.

If you are planning your December holiday, in Malaga after a few days of rain in early December, during the next days boasted sunny weather with 24 degrees. It may seem incredible; the first sensation when leaving the plane at Malaga airport will be like visiting the Costa del Sol in early summer.

Coming to Malaga in January or February, means not only enjoying good weather but to get the most out of our savings; everything is much cheaper, from long term accommodation to car rental at Malaga airport, the prices are so low, it will be worth it for sure if you want to discover the city.

Fuengirola instead is a place with a little more hustle, many streets to discover and access by both bus and train and only 30 minutes from Malaga airport.

Some hotels and apartments in Malaga offers free private parking, so I advise you to ask once you have booked as parking places are sometimes limited.

Once we have our accommodation, on the same day we can rent a car at Malaga airport online. The prices for the winter months are very cheap and if we choose well, we have the peace of mind that our car in perfect condition is waiting on our arrival.

Do not be afraid if this is the first visit, for a small fee you can opt for a GPS navigator that will help you reach your destination, and even make fantastic tours of the province. Driving in Malaga is a good experience, especially during the winter months where few cars and mild weather will make driving a delight. Discover places away from the urban core, the whitewashed villages and beautiful mountain roads taking us to places where we have to park the car for a few seconds to enjoy the beautiful landscape.
